Sean Ibrahim

Hi everyone. I’m Shoaib Ibrahim, though most people call me Sean. I’m a husband and father who’s grateful for a loving family — my wife, Elyshah, is a dedicated medical physicist whose work inspires me daily. We have two boys, Izhaan (5) and Zohaan (3), who fill our lives with curiosity, laughter, and joy.

I work as an IT Analyst in the legal sector, supporting technical operations and helping teams stay efficient. I love spending weekends playing golf. It’s even more special because my two boys absolutely love it. I truly enjoy spending quality time with my wife and sons, and we stay active together through soccer, basketball, and other fun activities.

Scouting is about building character through hands-on experiences, challenges, and community. It goes beyond badges to teach leadership, teamwork, and service, helping young people grow into confident, responsible individuals with integrity and purpose.

Shezad Patel

Hi, I’m Shez Patel from Prosper, TX. I work as a Product Manager in FinTech, and together with my wife and two adventurous kids, we value faith, learning, service, and time outdoors—Scouting perfectly reflects the way we hope to help our children grow into confident, service-minded leaders.

I love all things soccer and in particularly watching Aayan play and improve as a player. Fitness is also a big part of my life and I do enjoy staying in shape. Lastly, I am in a huge James Bond fan and have watched all 25 movies.

For me, Scouting is about building character and leadership through service, integrity, and perseverance. As a dad, former scout, and leader, I see it as a way to help young people grow into confident, compassionate individuals who lead with responsibility, respect, and a spirit of service.

Sohail Huda

Hi, my name is Sohail Hooda. I have one son and one daughter.

I am an Operations Leader and an expert in warehousing management.

I love traveling with family and exploring stars and close planets with telescopes.

Anil Wastani

Hi, my name is Anil Wastani. My wife and I are proud parents of two wonderful kids — Zahan (6) and Avira (4).

Professionally, I work as a Property and Casualty Insurance Executive, with a background in accounting. Outside of work, I enjoy playing golf, pickleball, and spending quality time with my family.

Scouting played a big role in my life growing up. It taught me valuable life skills and helped me build lasting relationships — experiences I still cherish today.

Zara Mitchell Hooda

Hi, I’m Zahra — wife for 12 wonderful years, proud mom to three amazingly cool Boy Scouts: Ailesh, Kais, and Eymen. They keep me on my toes, fill my life with adventure, and inspire me to soak in every moment.

In my career, I help mortgage brokers and loan originators keep their clients engaged, connected, and coming back. I love building strong relationships and creating strategies that make clients feel valued long after the deal is done.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me in the middle of a DIY project—whether it’s building my own furniture, redecorating my house (yes, every year!), or dreaming up the next home improvement idea. I’m also an avid reader who can get lost in a good book for hours.

I’ve always aspired to be a Hallmark movie mom—baking, crafting, and creating picture-perfect moments—but in reality, I embrace the imperfect, laugh through the chaos, and cherish the life we’re building together.

Shanil Merchant

I enjoy watching basketball especially when it comes to supporting Dallas Mavericks. I also enjoy hiking especially after living in Arizona and California and exploring the outdoors as a family during the weekends.

Scouting represents the opportunity to develop new skills, build lifelong friendships, and foster teamwork and camaraderie. Having served as a Scout in Pakistan and as a former Boy Scout, I value the lessons and experiences scouting provided and am committed to passing those same principles and skills on to my children and fellow Scouts.

Ali Bachoo

Hi, I’m Ali Bachoo, and I’m excited to begin my second year as a Den Leader with the Cub Scouts. I’m looking forward to another year of adventure, learning, and fun.

I live in Frisco with my wife, Meenaz, and our two kids, Ayden and Amelia. As a family, we love reading, spending time outdoors, and enjoying a good board game (even if the kids usually win!).

I work at Toyota, where the values of Respect for People and Continuous Improvement guide everything we do. I believe those same principles—kindness, teamwork, and striving to do better each day—are at the heart of Scouting.

When I’m not working or scouting, I enjoy reading, staying active, and trying to convince my kids that dad jokes really are funny. I’m excited to help our Scouts grow in confidence, learn new skills, and have plenty of fun this year.

I’ve been part of a larger community and helping young minds grow into focused, confident, and valuable individuals. We focus on instilling valuable life skills, fostering teamwork, and building character through a variety of engaging activities. It’s incredibly rewarding to see the scouts discover their potential, build their confidence, and grow their friendships. We encourage them to “Do Their Best” in everything they do. This is key in their growth and development as they learn to navigate new challenges and discover their potential.
